Dr. Ronald Bradshaw has been board-certified in Family Medicine since 1991 and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Dr. Bradshaw earned his Bachelor in Business Administration from Baylor University in 1981 and Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Houston in 1984. He was a CPA with Ernst & Young in Houston before attending medical school. He graduated from the University of Texas Medical School at Galveston in 1988 and completed his residency in 1991 at the McLennan County Family Medicine Program in Waco. Dr. Bradshaw completed his fellowship in Academic Medicine in 1995.
After completing his medical education, Dr. Bradshaw was in private practice for several years followed by serving as a full-time Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, where he was involved in a number of clinical leadership positions in addition to his teaching and patient care responsibilities. Dr. Bradshaw also served as a student health physician at the Baylor University Health Center, focusing on primary care of university students and also working with student athletes and teaching in the MBA Healthcare Administration program.
Dr. Bradshaw believes everyone should have a personal family physician to provide comprehensive medical care and serve as an advocate for the patient in a complex health environment. He particularly enjoys caring for patients with frequent headaches/migraines, sports related health concerns, and providing broad scope primary care to adolescents, young adults, and adults of all ages.
