Sherry believes in treating her patients like family and understands the burden of dealing with various health issues. Members of her own family struggled with hypertension and diabetes and as a result, Sherry has great empathy towards her patients. Her passion to educate and empower patients to successfully manage both diseases leads her to continually seek further information and useful resources that will help her patients, especially around diabetic nutrition.
As an undergraduate, Sherry attended Madonna University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Allied Health Administration. She went on to receive a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Wayne State University in Detroit. Sherry is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and the Texas State Board of Physician Assistant Examiners. Sherry has been caring for patients since 2004.
Sherry enjoys spending her free time with her husband and her two daughters. She is a member of a gospel step group, practices CrossFit, and volunteers with the Special Olympics.
