I was born in Mexico and moved to Texas when I was a teenager. I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University in 2010 and began my career in a nursing home and rehabilitation center and later worked in pediatric home health. Then, I worked at the OB high risk unit at Parkland Memorial Hospital for 5 years.
I like to work with all age groups using a holistic approach. I am passionate about wellness and preventive care as well as educating patients about their health. I decided to fully focus on these areas and earned a Master of Science in Nursing specializing in Family Practice from Texas Woman’s University in 2019. I am board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioner (AANP).
I am married and have an 8-year-old son and a Shih Tzu named Lucas. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, working out, and oil painting.
