Bethany comes from a long line of critical thinkers, so naturally chose Biomedical Engineering for her undergraduate degree. This allowed her to pursue her healthcare passion while also practicing critical thinking. She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas (Go Razorbacks!).
After graduating, Bethany moved to Kansas City, Missouri and pursued a career in Electronic Medical Records with Cerner, while at the same time finishing her prerequisites for Physician Assistant school. She then moved from Kansas City to Tulsa and was able to pursue her lifelong goal of providing healthcare. At OU-Tulsa, a major component is prevention of chronic disease through lifestyle coaching and diet, which inspired Bethany to continue to incorporate this into her daily life and the life of her patients.
When Bethany is not practicing medicine, she can be seen at an Arkansas Razorback or KC Chiefs football game, riding bikes along the Trinity River Trails with her husband (Eric), or running a couple of miles with her husky (Skye) & labrador retriever (Addie).
