Dr. Callum McCormick is a board-certified internal medicine specialist. Dr. McCormick is a Texas native, having grown up in Colleyville. He completed undergraduate studies at The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina. He then returned to Texas for his medical training, attending the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. After completing his residency training at NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, he returned to Texas to practice.

Dr. McCormick had a lifelong interest in medicine and chose to specialize in internal medicine because the field allowed him to explore the full breadth and scope of healthcare. He loves continuing to learn about medical advances and the latest evidence-based medicine so he can incorporate that knowledge into his clinical work.

In addition to his interest in the scientific aspects of medicine, Dr. McCormick is passionate about helping people. His training in osteopathic medicine taught him the value of considering the whole person when providing medical care. In addition to managing diagnosable health conditions and alleviating symptoms, Dr. McCormick works with patients to assess their overall well-being.

When he’s seeing patients, Dr. McCormick focuses on patient-centered care with an emphasis on preventative medicine. He enjoys building a trusting relationship with his patients and getting to know their personal stories. Trust and mutual respect allow him to help patients manage their health and make choices that will benefit their quality of life over the long term.

When he isn’t at the office, Dr. McCormick enjoys working out and spending time with his wife and their dog.
